How about we do work towards forming a "well-armed" militia....
One armed with facts as opposed to firearms.
The abysmal approval rating of congress, the blatant obstruction, and deflection of the right-wing, he blurring of the lines between the legislative and judicial branches is unprecedented.
There is no lack of creativity in their efforts to taint President Obama.
While it would be easy enough, and totally justified, there is no need for us to play the race card.
Even a cursory look at his administration's accomplishments is sufficient to debunk the nay-sayers...on fact.
What is needed is Civilian Activism.
Utilizing the tools that we have at our disposal, arming ourselves with factual information, and then getting out into our communities and engaging...
Mentoring and motivating our youth.
The damage done to the nation has taken place over several decades.
It cannot, will not be repaired in one or two election cycles...
However, we must begin with this years midterms.
Thoroughly vet new candidates, hold sitting politicians accountable...
Demand Town Halls, and show up armed with the tough questions.
Flood post and email boxes, flood the telephone lines of our representatives.
They must be reminded non-stop that their job is to serve our will, not protect their own financial interests.
A Well-Armed Militia of Civilian Activists...
Indeed fighting for, defending, and ultimately reclaiming our government.
